The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Investor Application allows commercial investors to make better investment decisions in electric vehicle infrastructure.

Our service reduces the barriers of entry for investors, so that they can more easily collaborate with energy companies and local government, in order to develop viable business cases to build and operate electric vehicle infrastructure. Currently the barriers facing investors are that they require one-to-one conversations to maintain current knowledge of:

* energy system data, as it increasingly becomes available
* numerous in-flight data driven energy initiatives and applications
* how to find authoritative national data sets, like traffic movement patterns
* in-flight or planned low carbon infrastructure initiatives
* regional differences between energy companies
* plans and investment opportunities across different Local Authorities
* different EV-uptake and socio-behavioural models
* who and what to trust

EV Infrastructure Investor App is a collaborative, cloud-based, curated modelling environment. The service enables investors to cut through the complexity of acquiring specialist technical knowledge and gain access to information about innovation initiatives, local planning and recommended best practice.

Our application provides:

* curated access to core standards compliant data (supplied by energy companies, authoritative national data registers and local authorities).
* facility to configure run-time simulations of investment models as a foundation for investors to further elaborate their own more sophisticated investment models and intellectual property.

Initially our service will focus on providing coverage that is as rich as possible, for a region of Scotland. We intend to prove the value of this formative service in a narrow region, so that we can attract paying customers and use that income to elaborate the service further to provide wider geographic coverage and additional useful features over time.

There is potential to continue to extend this application further, for instance to enable those who are looking to invest in electrification of heat opportunities and further.
