At iJo Power, we provide solutions for domestic and commercial customers' power needs. We design, supply and configure solar and battery storage systems, to help them reduce their energy bills, as well as reducing their carbon footprint. Our customers currently save between 75- 80% off of their electricity bills. An average large house, with an electric vehicle will pay on average £560 per month. By installing our recommended system (which is based on top of the range manufacturers in this area), we bring their bills down to approximately £120 per month. Customers are more willing to pay for the initial outlay of a system, as their return on investment is much quicker, due to the rise in energy bills. An average solar system is between £12k to £15k. We enjoy an increasing reputation as experts in the area and we enjoy an excellent word of mouth referral rate.

To compliment our existing solution, we aim to launch an energy trading app, via a subscription model, which will allow customers with battery storage capability to trade their excess energy at optimum times, taking into account frequency, weather, time of day and human behaviour, which will result in them zero-ing their electricity bills.

The system will use algorithms to fully manage this on their behalf, thus saving them time and presenting an opportunity that they may not have already considered.

Through our effective energy trading, we will be then given the option, once they have zeroed their bill, to donate a percentage of their excess energy to households who are experiencing fuel poverty. This can be anything between donating all of their excess energy, or a percentage of what is over-produced for their needs. However, there will also be the option to not make a donation, if they so wish and will therefore may additional income from selling to the grid at optimum rates. This approach is highly innovative and we would be first to market with such a powerful message.
