The project helps operators of small commercial boats, i.e. offshore crewboats, wind farm crew transfer vessels, passenger ferries, tugs, pilot, patrol and work-boats, reduce their operating costs and carbon footprint/emissions, against a backdrop of increasing legislative and customer pressure to deliver more for less. The project builds on Reygar's existing "BareFLEET" remote monitoring technology, harnessing the vessel design and fleet operational experience of shipbuilder/owner Penguin International.

The outcome will be an intelligent performance analytics and decision support tool "Fleet-Vision". The tool will be driven by continuous vessel performance measurements and crew log data, harnessing AI and machine learning data analysis technologies. It will be a versatile tool that offers benefits to different types of small commercial vessel operators. During the project, the system it will be tested extensively on vessels operated by project partner Penguin International.
