Description
Air-taxis could soon become a reality in our cities. Many of them use batteries to enable sustainable and efficient flights. Despite much innovation in the battery space in recent years, the technology available at the moment means that for every minute spent flying, the air-taxi will need to charge for another minute on the ground. This leads to low utilisation rates and higher cost. We propose a new power source, using the best batteries available and combine them with a Hydrogen fuel cell. Such a new power architecture could reduce the time spent for charging to minutes and make the air-taxi more profitable and affordable to customers.
