Description
Anteam is currently creating a community-based logistics network to help meet the growing logistics demand, but without the corresponding negative environmental impact in terms of CO2 emissions, air pollution and traffic congestion. This project is focused on the development of an innovative low-carbon rewards programme to increase the adoption of the community-based logistics network.
The community-based logistics network is different to traditional logistics networks. It is a logistics concept that has the potential of changing behaviours and reducing the number of journeys on the road. The Fogg Behaviour Model shows that three elements must converge at the same moment for a behaviour to occur: Motivation, Ability and Prompt. This project will focus on the "Motivation" element to maximise the opportunity for the adoption of the logistics network. It will focus on developing the understanding of a market segment that values helping their local community and reducing the impact of logistics on the environment.
With this innovative low-carbon rewards programme, it could significantly increase the environmental and societal impact of the community-based logistics network. It will help establish Anteam and the UK at the forefront of sustainable logistics, capturing a global market that is continuously growing.
