with a core project team of Imtiaz Palekar, Rameez Ebrahim, Sadaf Rayworth and Abdul Palekar. It is developing a user-friendly AI-enabled, forced pressurised air cooking-frying system (F-PAFS) that minimises energy consumption and maximises heat transfer rate into raw or frozen food. Achieving up to 75% reduction in cooking times while actively extracting excess fats. The technology is scalable for larger domestic households without compromising efficiency and end user experience. F-PAFS has many commercial uses such as hospitality industry (legacy & new novel fast food concepts) airline industry, hospitals and schools, service stations. F-PAFS offers healthier and low-carbon cooking with minimum food wastage. The system is 25% quieter and 25% energy efficient compared to competing systems. F-PAFS is user friendly and easy to operate due to its inbuilt database that provides optimum cooking cycle based on end user taste. Ergonomically designed to allow easy access and cleaning facilitated by the modular design of the system.
