Description

More Like This

At the first stage, the project will look into investigating the power requirement for military vehicles of differing sizes; this will include studying the feasibility, benefits and challenges of the integration of a fuel cell system and identifying the current technical limitations for each vehicle size. The second phase of the project will then focus on the design, modelling and simulation of the fuel cell system looking at innovative approaches to simplify system where possible. The design and model will need to consider the safety aspect in a military environment, as well as, power flow optimisation and overall efficiency of the system. Finally, a complete model and simulation of a 2-3kW system in a military vehicle will be developed.
