Description
The goal of the study is to make a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and an Energy Savings and Comfort Levels Analysis prototypes of living walls for ANS Group (Europe).
Life Cycle Assessment
The LCA is used to calculate the environmental impact of your product. The analysis of which will show the energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions of your product throughout its life cycle, and will also determine whether that cycle is closed or not (Cradle-to-Grave or Cradle-to-Cradle). The LCA will provide you with performance specific information by revealing which parts of the cycle waste more energy and produce more carbon dioxide emissions. This information may then be used to improve your product by lowering its carbon footprint. This will give you an advantage over market competitors, by showing a commitment to sustainability.
Energy Savings and Comfort Levels Analysis
The Energy Savings and Comfort Levels Analysis is based on an energy simulation model that is used to calculate the impact of your product based on the thermal performance of a building. The analysis will use technical information about your product to show how it can save energy, reduce carbon dioxide emissions and improve comfort levels in buildings in different climate zones around the world. If you are developing a new product, this analysis can be incorporated into the design process by comparing different components and materials in order to improve the thermal efficiency of your product.
