Description
Aquaponics is the farming of freshwater fish with the production of salad crops to supply
local communities with truly organic and Eco-friendly produce. Only 10% of the water
required to grow salad crops. The system is powered by Solar PV systems with excess power
either sold back to the grid or used locally.
The company wishes to establish if there is a market for a containerised modular aquaponics
system that can be used in the UK or anywhere in the world. It can be exported easily and
positioned anywhere on a vacant plot.
A full proof of market study is required to study the viability of a step change Aquaponics
system that could be sited in a series of 40ft containers.
