The UK has one of the highest incoming fluctuating voltage levels in the world. It averages 242v but can vary by as much as 30 volts per day. Excess voltage, which can be as much as 33v is wasted- lost mainly as heat but also reducing life of machinery, lighting components, motor & drive systems.
We are looking to enhance our current product range (30 KVA – 3000 KVA) and benefits to our customers through a novel Voltage Optimisation patented Sensing Technology™. A unique feature of our proposed systems is that it senses incoming voltage from the National Grid and provides a constant output voltage irrespective of input levels and fluctuations. By reducing the voltage to an optimum level customers save energy, (typically between 8 and 20%), reduce costs and carbon emissions and prolong the life of their equipment.
We are committed to working with high energy users to reduce their electricity costs, carbon emissions and equipment failures. This innovation voucher will enable us to take forward this strategically important product development whilst adding value and delivering further energy savings to our clients. This project will open up new market opportunities for us, increasing turnover, profitability and employment, increasing our network of partners and protecting our lead against our competitors
