Description
Thermoelectric materials are capable of converting a heat gradient into a voltage so have potential applications in waste heat capture and wearable electronics. Organic semiconductors especially are promising due to the potential to decouple their thermal and electrical conductivities, as well as being easy to process and flexible. However little is known about how this flexibility affects their thermoelectric properties and whether it can be used to enhance performance.
