Klick Fit is highly innovative exploration of the potential for obtaining continuous non-invasive real-time measurements from single and multicore armoured medium and low voltage power cables in challenging electric, magnetic and live operational environments using advanced techniques from areas as diverse as power engineering, electro-magnetics, finite element analysis, power scavenging and low power radio. Such measurements are necessary to optimise and control the use of electric energy in a wide variety of commercial and industrial situations as well as providing key measurements to operate and protect the smart electric distribution power systems of the future.
