Description
Starting from models and validation of wind direction variation, collaborative yaw control will be researched. Furthermore, new wind farm control approaches will be investigated that use wind field information to map large extreme wind events as they pass through a farm and hence adjust wind turbine control to mitigate any induced extreme loads through predictive control.
