Description
This innovation voucher will be used to test the performance of a new wind turbine composite blade design. Using novel techniques the turbine blade no longer requires a metal insert and so a number of stress raising points are removed. This also reduces the overall weight of the turbine blade and so ensures that the turbine is more efficient and eco-friendly.
