When these areofoils experiences lift, they can move faster than the wind speed and produce significant windpower as compared to drag based sails. This technology is commonly used for sail propulsion and also already been proposed forlarge scale installation. However, the latter requires large spaces and is sensitive to the direction of the wind velocity. We proposea small scale installation based on a closed circuit of translating aerofoils inside a frame that can easily tilted towards the winddirection in order to achieve high aerodynamic efficiency. The system is cheap to produce, simple to deploy and maintain. It can beused as a single wind power machine or as part of a farm of wind power machines.This wind power machine can be produced in several sizes. We aim at the start to produce it at small size for the XX MW market.Key importance will be the cost of the electricity production, design robustness and energy harvesting efficiency at various windconditions.
