Economic and environmental benefits from the usage of GSHP on a landfill or LSHP. Key points1. The environmental and economic benefits of GHSP. We need to provide some key evidences and be able to quantify these benefits.2. Possibly need 2 or 3 technical and economic case studies to support the previous bullet point, especially looking at using heat from landfill site.3. Demonstrate that GHSP from landfill has a role to play in providing renewable source of energy in the UK4. Overall we want to demonstrate that we can better harness the resources from landfill and enhancing environmental and societal benefits from our disposal sites.5. Thermal heat from MSW is used commercially for heating schools for example – but still not widely used – why? We are already and innovative business having design and installed the first commerical scale ground radial drilled GSHP system, developed and designed deep closed loop geothermal and the UKs first modulating ground energy collector.
