Helios Limited, a micro SME, are seeking to\n\ntest the feasibility of developing a combined heat & power energy storage system (TESS). The device will be\n\nsmart-enabled, and will utilise off-peak electricity to store heat energy at ~£0.02/kWh in a high density\n\nmedium. The device will use a Sterling motor to generate electricity at peak hours, and heat losses will be used\n\nto heat a water matrix for heating or hot water.
